Organised and hosted by the Department of General Psychology of the University of Padua

The Department of General Psychology (DPG), established in 1919, is devoted to world-class empirical studies of human and animal psychology. Its researchers are interested in virtually all aspects of normal and pathological behaviour, cognition and emotion are investigated. Multidisciplinary approaches are widely implemented and include cognitive, clinical, psychophysiological, neuropsychological, cognitive neuroscience, psychometrics, social and human-computer interaction methods as well as those related to modeling.

The University of Padua

The University of Padua is an Italian University located in the city of Padua, Italy. The University of Padua was founded in 1222 as a school of law. Padua is the second-oldest University in Italy and the world’s fifth-oldest surviving University. In 2010 the University had approximately 65,000 students, in 2016 was ranked “best University” among Italian institutions of higher education with more than 40,000 students, and in 2018 best Italian University according to ARWU ranking.

ICoNa SB (Institute of Narrative Constructivism) was founded in Padua in 2021 but is firmly grounded in a more than twenty years’ history of clinical practice and psychotherapy teaching. Its birth is aimed at offering a fresh training proposal with an eye on the future.
